1. Introduction

Welcome to Aurora Andes Hotel. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (www.auroraandeshotel.cl) and your stay at our property in Santiago, Chile. By accessing our website, making a reservation, or checking into the hotel, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not proceed with your booking.

2. Booking & Reservations

All reservations are subject to availability. By making a reservation, you enter into a direct, legally binding contractual relationship with Aurora Andes Hotel.

  • Rates and Taxes: All rates are quoted in US Dollars (USD) or Chilean Pesos (CLP). Rates are subject to applicable local taxes and service charges, unless otherwise specified. Foreign tourists may be exempt from the 19% VAT on accommodation if paying in USD and presenting a valid passport and tourist card upon check-in.
  • Payment & Deposit: A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize your credit card prior to arrival. Full payment for your stay is required upon check-in.
  • Cancellation Policy: Standard cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date to avoid a one-night room and tax penalty. Non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled or modified.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in Time: 3:00 PM local time. Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.
  • Check-out Time: 12:00 PM (noon) local time. Late check-out requests must be coordinated with the front desk and may be subject to additional charges.
  • Identification: Guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID (passport or national ID card) and the credit card used for the booking upon check-in.

4. Hotel Rules and Guest Conduct

We strive to provide a luxurious and relaxing environment for all our guests. We expect our guests to conduct themselves in a respectful manner.

  • Smoking Policy: Aurora Andes Hotel is a 100% smoke-free property indoors. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. A cleaning fee of $250 USD will be charged to guests who smoke in their rooms.
  • Pet Policy: We do not allow pets, with the exception of certified service animals required by guests with disabilities.
  • Damage to Property: Guests are liable for any damage howsoever caused to the allocated room(s) or to the Hotel premises or property caused by the guest or any persons in their party.

5. Amenities and Entertainment Facilities

The hotel offers various amenities, including a spa, outdoor pool, restaurants, and a private casino lounge. Access to these facilities is subject to specific rules:

  • Spa and Pool: Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area. Certain spa treatments are restricted to guests aged 18 and over.
  • Casino Lounge: Access to the private casino and gaming areas is strictly restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Valid, government-issued photo identification is required for entry. The hotel promotes responsible gaming and reserves the right to deny entry or service to any individual at its sole discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aurora Andes Hotel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

The hotel is not responsible for the loss or damage of valuables left in guest rooms. In-room safes are provided for your convenience.

7. Force Majeure

The hotel is not liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Santiago, Chile.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the website or our services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
